Reviews and comments on the Springfield Connection episode of the Simpsons

A short bit near the beginning of the episode. Original North American airdate listed as 07 May 95
Production Code 2F21,
Written by Jonathan Collier.

Snake throws the monte with brother acting as shill. Fun to watch, even if not technically correct.

Homer and Marge walk through a run-down neighborhood, come upon Snake tossing the Monte, paying off a 'winner' (looks and sounds just like Snake, obviously a brother acting as shill.)
Homer runs over, Marge warns him off, pointing out the similarities between Snake and the 'winner.'
Snake (to Homer): "Just pick the red card, it's totally not hard"
Homer lays 20 down, loses it.
Marge turns the other cards, both also black (!)
Marge: "Homer, he cheated you!!"
Snake: "Surely you don't blame _me_!! (runs off) ......

I've seen this episode many times, but I can't recall what kind of a surface Snake was working on. Anybody??
